The jerk mechanism replaces the regular impact bar and provides faster shuttle, especially for wide tissues. In order to take full advantage of the benefits, some practice is required.

At the ends of the bottom part of the boom are shuttle boxes that throw/catch the shuttle. The movement of the shuttle takes place with a string that connects both shuttle boxes and which has a handle in the middle to carry out the throwing movement.
